How this guide earns its money
This page explains, in plain terms, how a free guide to Winnipeg's casinos pays its way. It covers the one paid link, where it sits, and what the site does not claim about it. Every other link gets the same short answer: nobody pays for it.
One paid link, on the home page
The home page carries a single paid link, and it is clearly marked Ad. It sends you to an online casino run by a partner. That partner can change. This site earns a commission from the link, and that is the whole business model.
That partner is not PlayNow, and it is not run by the province. PlayNow.com is Manitoba's official online gambling site, operated by Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries and regulated by the LGCA. This guide does not claim the partner is licensed in Manitoba, so please do not read the Ad label that way.
No casino pays to be listed here. Club Regent Casino, McPhillips Station Casino and South Beach Casino & Resort sit in the compass and the table because of distance, not money. Nobody bought a better spot.
Every other link is unpaid
Links to Club Regent, McPhillips Station, South Beach and PlayNow.com earn this site nothing. They are there so you can check hours and details with each venue directly, which beats guessing on a cold night.
Casino deals of any kind do not appear anywhere on these pages. The editors left them out on purpose, and they stay out.
